The 2nd annual Quad County Pork Festival is just a few weeks away. The Quad County Pork Fest is being held in Wellman at the North Park on Saturday, September 15th.

According to Lori Witthoft, with the Wellman Chamber of Commerce, Wellman is in Washington County and is in driving distance from Keokuk, Iowa and Johnson counties, making it a good place to hold a festival to celebrate those in the pork industry in the four counties.

She adds there will be plenty of stuff to do and see, from kid’s activities, live music to a sow having a live birth.
