The new school year is just around the corner for Mid-Prairie and Keota. Superintendent at both districts Mark Schneider, says there have been a lot of registrations from new families and the open enrollment numbers are high.
He says he’s cautiously optimistic about attendance this year, noting the variables that go into it, including families that have moved out of the district.
The first day of school for Mid-Prairie is Tuesday, August 21st. The first day for Keota is the day after on Wednesday the 22nd.
