In response to the drought, a class is being offered for swine producers.  Tom Miller, Swine Specialist with the Washington County Extension says a webinar is being presented to discuss the current and future crop outlooks, situations facing pork producers along with feed options and feed alternatives.

Miller adds the workshop is talking about ideas for saving feed and managing herds as well.  He notes local discussion will be encouraged with a time for questions to be answered.  The webinar is next Wednesday, the 29th from 1:00-3:30 and for more information, contact Tom Miller at the Washington County Extension.
