WACO will host their home volleyball tournament tonight.

The Warriors went 1-2 in last year’s tournament, winning their opening match, and then dropping the next two.

Head coach Tom Ferguson said his team’s goal is to win, but that is not the biggest goal of the night.

“Obviously our goal is still to win, but what our ultimate goal is to keep improving through the season so we are at our best for the post season,” Ferguson said.

In Pool A, this tournament will have WACO, Iowa Valley, Columbus and Van Buren, and in pool B is Harmony, Wapello, Pekin and Maharishi.

Harmony was the only team WACO beat last year at this tournament, and they won’t see them this year.

The tournament starts at 5 P.M. at WACO.
