Members from different 4-H clubs in Washington County recently earned some honors at a unique livestock show in Des Moines County.  Amy Green, 4-H/Youth Coordinator says a standing room only crowd witnessed Grand Champions from other southeast Iowa counties compete in showing marketing and breeding cattle, sheep and goats.

Winning Grand Champion in market beef was Josie Wagler from the Crooked Creek 4-H Club.  Wagler says it was a privilege to win after competing last year.

Other winners from Washington County include Brenda McArtor winning Reserve Champion Market Meat Goat and Riley Sieren earning Reserve Champion Breeding Heifer.
