A resident from Washington is recalling their experience as being part of the Olympic Torch Relays in 1996.  Ann Williams says 100 people sent in nominations on her behalf for her community service efforts to Coca-Cola to take part in the once-in-a-lifetime event. She notes she carried the torch for six blocks before passing the flame to the next individual in the relay.

Williams says she still has the torch and shares about her experience as much as she can to any community service organization.  Hear more from Ann Williams, during today’s Washington Page program.
