An accident near Wellman has injured two people. According to the Washington County Safety Center, around 7:45 last night, a report was received of a van versus tractor accident on Highway 22. Both people injured were taken to the University of Iowa Hospital.
Charges are pending in the accident. Those responding to the scene were the Washington County Sheriff, Washington County Ambulance, Washington County Rescue, Wellman First Responders, Wellman Fire Department and Aircare. KCII will bring you more information on this story as it becomes official.
