Charges have been dropped against a candidate and a Washington business accused of election misconduct. According to online court records, the case against Priscilla Marlar has been dropped. She had been charged with one count of Unlawful Receipt of a Monetary Campaign Contribution from a Corporation. Charges were also dropped against Custom Impressions in Washington.
They had been charged with six counts of Unlawful Campaign Sign Placement and one count of Unlawful Campaign Contribution from a Corporation. Washington County Attorney Larry Brock filed a motion to dismiss the charges yesterday which were granted by Judge Joel Yates.
