Charges have been filed related to reports of vandalism earlier this month. On September 2nd, the Washington Police Department received a report of vandalism at the Washington High School where the new brick portion had been spray painted with graffiti. A similar incident was reported on September 6th at a business on East Tyler in Washington.

According to Investigator Shawn Ellingson, charges are being filed against 21 year old Andrew Tyler Brock of Washington with 4th degree Criminal Mischief – a serious misdemeanor. Also being charged is 19 year old Austin Michael Weller of Washington with Aiding and Abetting 4th degree Criminal Mischief – a serious misdemeanor.

A criminal charge is merely an accusation, and the defendants are presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty. KCII will bring you more information on this story as it becomes official.
