An annual report was presented during yesterday’s Washington County Board of Supervisor’s meeting.  [simage=4209,400,n,center]

Steve Anderson with the Washington County Conservation Board shared that the Board spent a little under 400,000 dollars in county funds and almost 925,000 dollars overall when adding in the various projects completed throughout the last year.

He says a short-term project is to do landscaping along the Ainsworth-Marr Park trail and some longer-range projects include enclosing shelter four and to upgrade playground equipment.  Anderson also mentioned the wide use of different facilities and the many presentations given by staff.

During the meeting as well was approval of a Title VI non-discrimination agreement.  Postponed to a future meeting was a Bunker Mill grant application with the city of Kalona as well as the Richmond/Rubio 28E contract.
