For the Highland girls, only two ran at the meet, and the top finisher was Bridget Murphy in 21st with a time of 18:39. Behind her was Amber Bean in 26th.

After the meet head coach Angie Stroble talked about how her team did.

“I felt like they did pretty well,”Stroble said. “We had a couple of people missing tonight, but I felt like we did pretty well despite those people sitting out due to injuries.”
