A community education event on identity theft is being held in Columbus Junction tomorrow. Identity Theft & What You Need to Know is being held at the Columbus Junction Public Library and is sponsored by Southeast Iowa Area Agency on Aging.

The goal of the program is to educate seniors and give them the tools to minimize the chance of having their identity stolen.

The program will include information from the Federal Trade Commission, who received over 200,000 identity theft complaints in 2010 alone.
