Many area teams will travel out to Keota tonight for the Keota cross country invite.

There will be 14 teams at the meet including Highland, Keota, Columbus Junction, Lone Tree, and Mid-Prairie.

Columbus head coach Steve Riley says this meet will be a good one to test the teams against local schools.

He added that his team seems to have good times at the course.

“It’s probably the fastest course we will have run on this season, not that it is easy, we just run better times on this course,” Riley said. “It has a few rolling hills, but compared to the two previous courses we have run on this may be the fastest so far.”

The meet will start at 5:00 P.M. at the Lagos Acres golf course in Keota
