New medical technology is in the process of being installed at Washington County Hospital and Clinics. Denni Brown with the Radiology Department says they have been getting ready to install a new MRI machine over the summer. She says the Symphony 1.5T is bringing “an ultra-high machine that will provide excellent image quality, short examinations, and increased departmental workflow.” This addition will mean MRI services will be available Monday through Friday.
Washington Hospital and Clinics CEO Dennis Hunger says because of the generous donations to the Washington County Hospital Foundation, the hospital will have improved imaging services for the community. The new MRI technology will be installed by the end of the month with the first patients using the machine the beginning of October.
