Bike riding enthusiasts who are up for a challenge have a chance to register for a one day bike ride happening later this month.  The second annual Ride Across Iowa in a Day (RAID) is a ride and race across the state of Iowa. The route chosen is about 300 miles in length mainly following Highway 92 from Council Bluffs through Sigourney, West Chester, Washington, Ainsworth and Columbus Junction en route to Muscatine.

There are also two half rides of 150 miles each for those wanting to participate but may not feel they can attempt the full race.  This one day race is happening on Saturday, the 29th.  The cost is $157 for the full ride and $127 for the half day ride.  Registrations close on the 22nd.  To learn more about RAID and to register, follow this link.
