Farmers interested in helping out the new Youth Center at the Louisa County Fairgrounds now have an easy way to do so. Arrangements have been made for the Crops for the Louisa County Fair Youth Center program at Farmers Elevator in Wapello and Bieri Grain in Letts for farmers to donate corn and soy beans to support the project.

Farmers can just designate a load of grain to be sold to benefit the youth center, the elevator sends a check to the project and a receipt is issued to the farmer to claim the donation when preparing their taxes.

Construction of the Youth Center began in August and is scheduled to be done next summer.
