A vehicle stop in Riverside has led to two arrests.  According to the Washington County Safety Center, a vehicle stop was being conducted in Riverside around 5:30 yesterday when one subject fled on foot.

Several Washington County Sheriff Deputies responded and 20 year old Darnell Aaron Young of Iowa City was located about an hour later near mile marker 85 on Highway 218.  Young was wanted in Johnson County for Failure to Appear and has been charged with interference with official acts in Washington County.

Also arrested was 21 year old Skyler Rayann Cooper of Kalona for interference with official acts.  KCII will bring you more information on this story as it becomes official.
