A jury has reached a verdict in the cases of possible election misconduct. Charges against 56 year old Jack Seward of West Chester and 57 year old Robert Yoder of Kalona stemmed from the June primary races and May 19th and July 19th campaign disclosure statements filed with the Iowa Ethics and Campaign Disclosure Board in July.
After trials were held earlier this week, the jury found Seward not guilty of Unlawful Receipt of a Monetary or In-Kind Campaign Contribution from a Corporation on Tuesday. Today a jury found Yoder not guilty of one count of Unlawful Transfer of Campaign Funds.
