The WACO Warriors played an area team in Lone Tree last night, and got caught in a shootout.

Lone Tree came away the victors with a 21-14 win over WACO.

Lone Tree started out the scoring with a five yard run from Lucas Sieverding, to start the scoring in the first quarter.

WACO came right back with their own touchdown in the second off of a Cey Saeugling 47 yard run, but failed to convert the PAT.

The teams continued to trade touchdowns when Lone Tree scored again in the third with 56 yard touchdown pass from Gabe Lorack to Sieverding.

But the Lions stopped the point trading when they scored again in the fourth quarter from a Levi Saterfield one yard run.

WACO scored one last time and converted on the two point conversion right after the Lone Tree touchdown off of a Dylon Carlson 87 yard kickoff return, but it wasn’t enough to overcome the Lions.

WACO is now 2-1 while Lone Tree is 1-2.
