Washington Cross Country Runs in Grades, Prepares for Tomorrows Home Meet

The Washington Demon cross country team ran at Lake Darling this weekend, and finished by grade.

For the high school girls times:

In 10th grade Stephanie Loy finished second with a time of 18:06, and Sarah Greiner was seventh with a time of 19:50.

Other 10th grade girls were Jennie Green in 8th, Addison Gaal in 13th, Aaliyah Brown in 14th and Jalyssa Jepson in 15th.

In 11th Grade Chayse Jaspering finished eighth with a time of 20:52. Behind her was Grace Redlinger in 9th and Dema Giardino in 10th.

In 12th grade Mariah Reighard finished in eighth with a time of 19:06, and Sara Conwell was 10th.

On the boy’s side, Curtis Vest was the only 10th grader with a time of 18:10 finishing fifth, and single handedly won the 10th grade boys team title.

In 11th grade, Austin Latchem was fifth with a time of 18:25, Jiovanni Tapia was 15th and Chase Litchfield was 16th.

In 12th grade, Brandon Rhinhart was sixth with a time of 19:25 and Logan Moeller was eighth

Washington will host their own meet tomorrow at the Washington Golf Course and Country club on Wayland road, with both the Junior High boys and girls running at 4:30.

Varsity girls will start at 4:45-5, and the Varsity boys will be at 5:30.
