The WMU volleyball team takes on IMS tonight in Southeast Iowa Superconference play.

The teams faced each other recently at the Wilton Tournament over the weekend, and it was WMU who came out the victors in three sets.

The 10-3 Wolves have 300 kills on the year and have a .124 kill efficiency. Alicia Escher has 80 kills for the Wolves, while Erica Robinson has 79.

WMU head coach Dave Pieart says IMS is always a team you need to watch out for.

“[IMS] is always good, we actually played them this weekend in Wilton so we have a very good idea of what they are going to do,” Pieart said. “They have a very great setter in [Casey] Perez, and they’re a team that just isn’t going to make a whole lot of mistakes, they’ll dig it up, they’re fast on their feet, and they’ll just keep sending you the ball, in hopes that you’ll make the mistakes for them.”

IMS is 7-8 and has 274 kills on the year.

Olivia Yutzy leads the team with 102 kills, and Perez has 215 assists on the year.

IMS travels to WMU tonight, with first serve around 7:00 P.M.
