This week Washington County 4-Hers are spreading the word about their organization. 4-H member Bridgette Nebel shares that the four H’s stand for head, heart, hands and health.

She says that for the head portion in 4-H, they pledge their head to clearer thinking. That means working on mental development and reasoning. She says that activities she does to help with these aspects include raising her sheep and working on photography projects for the County Fair.

This week Nebel and other Washington County 4-Hers will be going to the elementary schools in the County to talk to kids about the opportunities 4-H provides.
