The public is asked to be on the look-out for two suspects who have stolen at least two vehicles and attempted two burglaries in Dallas County this morning.According to Dallas Center Police Chief Michelle Leonard a DC Muffler employee interrupted a burglary in progress when he arrived at work shortly after 6am Friday.
The employee called 911 and reported the license plate of a vehicle found at the scene. Dispatchers determined the vehicle was reported stolen from Washington County. The burglar and another suspect, believed to have been attempting to burglarize the Heartland Co-op at the same time as the DC Muffler incident, then stole another vehicle and fled the scene.
Both suspects are described as white males in their early twenties. They were last seen in a faded maroon Chrysler minivan with a Be Loved sticker on the back window and a dent on the driver’s side door. Chief Leonard asks anyone with information on the vehicle or the suspect’s whereabouts to contact their local law enforcement agency immediately.
