An annual event that draws in many children each year has been scheduled for next week.  The Washington County Conservation Board is holding their Halloween Hike again this year and this year’s focus is on “The Kitchen in the Woods.”  Naturalist Pam Holz says there will be a discussion about the food chain followed by experiments on different types of plant eaters.

There will also be information about carnivores on a lit trail.  Holz says there will even be a search for roasted marshmallows.  The hike runs from 6:45 to 8:00 rain or shine next Saturday the 13th.  For more information, contact the Conservation Board at Marr Park.
