The city of Washington is preparing to pick up leaves starting tomorrow.  The Maintenance and Construction Department is asking residents to place leaf piles in the terrace area between the sidewalk and the street.  The piles are not to be left in the street as they may create drainage and traffic hazards.

City crews are starting in the northwest portion of town and will move in a counter-clockwise direction through November 21st.  For more information, call the Washington Maintenance and Construction Department at 653-2947.
