The public is invited to talk about an asphalt overlay project during tonight’s Washington City Council meeting.  Washington City Administrator Brent Hinson says there are six different projects in which three of the six were part of the past capital improvement plan.  He adds the projects should take about a week to complete when started.

Also during the meeting, discussion will be held regarding the upgrading of the tornado sirens because of a radio narrow banding requirement. The upgrade is required by the federal government to be completed by the first of the year.

The Washington City Council meeting begins at 6:00 tonight in the old public library.
