The City of Keota recently sold a plot of land to a business that’s planning on expanding. According to City Clerk, Niki Osweiler, the land located behind the veterinary clinic on Davis Street was purchased by B & L Concrete for $22,500.

Earlier in the year they had bought a large chunk of property and then decided more room would allow for easier access to the building they’re putting up.

Construction on that building will start next spring. The money from the sale will be classified as miscellaneous income and will be put in the City’s general fund.
