Columbus got a win last night over Central Lee.

Central Lee started out the scoring off a Tyler Brent first quarter touchdown, but it was Columbus Junction’s Ethan Leyden nine yard pass to Chase Finke tied up the game in the second.

In the third, tied 8-8, Central Lee and Columbus traded touchdowns back and forth with Central Lee scoring on a Gabe Halstead four yard run, and then the Wildcats scoring off a Mauricio Ramirez 29 yard run.

Central Lee came right back and scored off a Jacob Boeck 19 yard touchdown catch from Chase Vogel, responded by a Leyden one yard run to tie it up 22-22.

In the fourth Columbus scored first with a Ricky River 51 yard touchdown catch from Leyden. Central Lee tied it up with a Justice Schlicter five yard run.

Columbus put it in the back with 2:28 left to go with a 46 yard touchdown run by Ramierez.
