Columbus Junction ran at the Mediapolis meet last night, and the girls finished in fourth, while the boys were fifth.

Caitlin Chaney continued to be the leader for the girls, with a 10th place in a time of 17:05. Taylor Hills was also in the top 14, finishing 12th with a time of 17:37. Other girl’s scorers were Grace Chapman in 17th, Ashley Canny in 18th and Claire Hamilton in 20th.

The girls finished with 72 points, Mediapolis was the winning with 28.

On the boy’s side, Eli Sents led the way with an eighth place finish in 17:29. Other boy’s scoreres were Josh Keller in 27th, Mitchell Roush in 30th, Dalton Howell in 33rd and Omar Benitez in 44th.

The boys finished with 142 points, the winner was Mediapolis with 44.

Columbus will run next week at home for their district meet.
