The City of Columbus Junction is moving forward with a couple of large projects. According to City Clerk, Julie Heindal, The City Council approved agreements with two companies for their waterworks and levee improvement projects at their meeting last week.

For the waterworks project the Council entered into an agreement with WRH for around $3,900,000. For the levee improvements an agreement with Cole Construction for approximately $300,000 was approved.

Start dates for the projects will be set at pre-construction meetings, which have yet to be set.
