The Washington Demons start the 4A state volleyball playoffs tonight, and they will travel to Clear Creek Amana.
The Demons are 13-15 with 8.41 kills per set and a scrappy 18.85 digs per set. Washington also won their final game going into to the tournament.
The Clippers are 20-13, with 12.02 kills per set and 18 digs per set.
Demon head coach Jeff Spenner said for his girls to win the match, they are going have to play like they did on senior night, and put pressure on the Clippers with their serve receive.
“Clear Creek is just a really good team, I’ve talked to the Solon coaches and a couple others who have seen them this year, and they’re just an all around consistent and good team,” Spenner said, “We’re just going to have to come out and be really aggressive and do a really good job with our serve receive and defense.”
Washington and Clear Creek- Amana faceoff tonight at 7 P.M. in Tiffin.
