The Washington Demon volleyball team takes on WACO tonight after finishing 3-2 at the Washington tournament.

Head coach Jeff Spenner said he thought they did pretty well, but was disappointed they didn’t go further, especially since Wapello, a team they beat in pool play, won the tournament.

Tonight, Washington takes on out of class WACO at Washington.

WACO is 3-14, with 3.91 kills per set and has won just eight sets all season.

The Demons are 8-11, with 7.67 kills per set and have a .933 serve percentage with 88 aces.

Spanner said WACO is a solid team that you need to stay consistent with.

“I used to coach there, and WACO has always been a really good program,” Spanner said. “[They’re] somebody new on our schedule, and we just need to play consistent, we need to be aggressive, and take care of the ball.”
