The outside of a new Habitat for Humanity house is coming together nicely in Columbus City. Trish Woepking with the Louisa County Habitat for Humanity shares that the house at 2607 Burlington Street now has shingles, doors and windows.

This weekend they’ll work on the soffits and fascia and head inside to work on the interior walls.

She notes that they’ve been very fortunate to have 3 to 4 carpenters each time they’ve gotten together to work on the house. There will be volunteering times today from 8-2pm.
