WACO was shutout on in the final game of the regular season, losing 48-0 to Highland.
Highland scored once in the first quarter off a Derrick Stewart 19 yard run, and then it was the offense show, with the Huskies scoring three times in the second from five yard out from Trey Brenneman, 22 yard run from Derrick Stewart, and a 11 yard touchdown pass from Kody Wood to Jake Tate.
In the second half it was much of the same in the third quarter with Stewart scoring on a 37 touchdown pass from Wood, Talon MacFarland scoring on a 31 yard touchdown pass from Wood, and a two yard touchdown run from Jesse Hootman to make the final 48-0 score.
Both teams did make it to the playoffs.
WACO travels to Lynnville-Sully, while Highland is at BGM for round one.
