IMS dropped their final game of the season in five sets to Pekin.

IMS was without Casey Perez for all of the match as in the second play felt her knee give, and had to sit out.

IMS still found a way to win set two and four 25-22 and 25-22, but it was Pekin who won sets one, three and five 31-29, 25-15 and 15-12.

Olivia Yutzy had 22 kills on the night, Hannah Miller replaced Perez on the floor and had 15 assists, and Kristin Davis and Naomi Miller had 15 and 14 digs respectively.

Head coach Cindy Miller said she has never been prouder of her team the way they stepped up and play with Perez out, and still fought the way they did.

IMS finishes fourth in the conference, and will travel to Lone Tree next week for regional’s.
