A class for those thinking about investing is coming to Washington next year.  Washington Library Director Debbie Stanton says the “Smart Investing at Your Library” class has received positive reviews after the Kalona Library offered it last year.  She says the class is geared toward first time investors, those preparing for retirement and those who are retired.

Stanton says those attending will go to the first and last classes in person, and study on their own during the middle.  Stanton adds Washington is one of 18 libraries across the state to offer this class.

She notes the class is funded by a grant from Iowa Library Services and the ISU Extension.  The six week class begins in February next year.  To find out more information, contact the Washington Public Library.
