A week emphasizing young adults is coming soon to the Washington Library. Teen Read Week is celebrated as a way to provide an opportunity to get teens to read for fun instead of reading for homework says Library Director Debbie Stanton.
She adds throughout that week more teens do come in to the library to read. This year they are having a presentation of “The Vampire’s Assistant” to tie in the special emphasis. Teen Read Week will be celebrated the week of October 14th through the 20th.
