A local teacher is sharing his thoughts on last nights vice presidential debate. Marcus Miller, Social Studies teacher at Iowa Mennonite School, says that he found the debate entertaining.
He shares that in his opinion Vice President Joe Biden and Paul Ryan likely pleased the members of their respective parties with their performances. He notes the two men offered clear differences on the issue of military intervention and reproductive rights for undecided voters.
Miller admits that he’s no expert, but if he had to pick a winner he’d give Biden a slight edge and adds that he provided President Obama a model of how to perform at his next debate with Governor Mitt Romney.
