Mid-Prairie Takes a Pair of Thirds at the Conference Meet

Mid-Prairie Cross Country ran at the Cedar Valley Conference meet last night, and had a couple of third place finishes.

On the girls side, Mallory McArtor was the individual runner-up with a time of 15:41, while Taylor Foster was ninth with a time of 16:28. Other scorers were Hannah VanRoekel in 15h, Beth Chmelar in 20th and Maddie Zahradnek in 21st.

The girls finished in third place with 62 points, while the winner Iowa City Regina had 34.

ON the boy’s side, Jared Draper finished eighth with a time of 17:18, and Ryan Errthum finished 10th with a time of 17:23, and a third all-conference runner Jake O’Donnell finished 14th with a time of 17:52. The other two scorers were Ty Feigenspan in 15th and Wyatt Cady in 18th.

Mid-Prairie finished with 65 points, just 21 points behind champion Tipton.
