Area high school 4-H members have two opportunities to join in a national leadership program again next year. Amy Green, 4-H/Youth Coordinator says the Citizenship Washington Focus program offers youth a chance to gain various leadership experiences, attend seminars and field trips as well as learn more about 4-H in a larger aspect.
She adds this is a great experience for those in high school learning about the government to see things in museums along with have a chance to talk with elected Representatives from the area. The first session is June 7th through 15th and the second is June 14th through 22nd.
Registration for the trip is due by December 15th. To learn more about the Citizenship Washington Focus program, look here.
