Reminders are being given about the upcoming election.  Washington County Auditor Dan Widmer says the deadline to sign up is in two weeks.

He says Iowa law does allow voter registration on Election Day with proof of identity and residency, but adds the possibility exists for confusion and a backlog on check-in that day.  Widmer says pre‑registration will avoid delays.

The sign up deadline is 5:00 Saturday, the 27th.  For more information, contact the Washington County Auditor’s office.
