The Washington Demon football team opens up post season play tonight against Norwalk.

The Demons finished their season 6-3 overall, while Norwalk was 7-2.

The Demons will run the ball, and that is a secret that every team knows, with 1984 rushing yards and 29 touchdowns it still works for the Demons.

Passing is a game that the Demons can go to, with 732 yards through the air and eight touchdowns with just one interception.

Norwalk is a run first than pass team, with 2257 yards on the ground and 29 touchdowns on the year, they will pass as well with 1023 passing yards and eight touchdowns with four interceptions.

Demon head coach Randy Shrader said the key tonight’s game, as it has been before is going to be the size difference, and special teams.

“It’s going to come down to their size versus our intensity, really that’s what it is going to come down to whether it is run/pass or special teams,” Shrader said. “This could be a special team’s night, if the field is not that good, both teams are slip, and sliding around it could come down to a punt return, if you gets the right block, it could come down to a special teams game, could be a blocked punt or field goal. I think it is going to come down to special teams just because of the track we’re playing on.”
