At Washington High School, students and staff are adjusting to a newly constructed facility and a change to scheduling. Principal Erik Buchholz says that because ninth graders are no longer bussed across town for certain classes, it means there is more instructional time for them. Buccholz has praise for the flexibility of students and the support of his staff for doing well in this first year in the high school; it’s meant about one hundred more students in the building compared with last year.
