The City of Washington has adjusted its financial contribution to the local animal shelter.During a discussion among the city council, city administration, and the mayor last week, the amount of the regular contribution was scrutinized.
Apparently the number that was being billed to the city did not calculate out to what was in the annual budget. The adjustment meant a slightly lower figure. The quarterly donation was lowered about 15-dollars.
The city is giving a little over 10-thousand dollars to Paws and More Animal Shelter for their work as the only such shelter in the city.
