The Washington County Safety Center is back with the ninth year of a program to get Christmas gift to families and elderly people that might not otherwise have much for the holiday. The 9-1-1 Supervisor Cara Sorrells says the Everyone’s an Elf Program first raises money and adopts families.  Then, the gifts are bought, wrapped, and delivered before Christmas.  Sorrells says that safety center employees take part in the effort starting in November, and they are open to donations of cash and gifts from the public.
