The Washington YMCA pool has been closed while repairs are done, but the roughly 30-thousand dollar cost of the work is not something the Y is able to cover immediately.  The aging cast-iron drain pipe in the pool was found to be cracked and deteriorated. Executive Director Becky Harkema says they are hoping to find 44 donors that are willing to give anywhere from 100 dollars to 5-thousand dollars.  Harkema says she expects the pool to be open again after Thanksgiving.
