The newly created Washington Middle School has meant students and staff have made some adjustments to their learning schedule and style. After a realignment of grades, the Middle School is also now at the former High School, and contains slightly younger grades. Principal Curt Mayer says that students are adjusting well to the new schedules. New curriculum includes a new series of math classes, and a more broad-based physical education that has lessons on nutrition, obesity, and how the body works.
