A weekend hunting accident in southeast Iowa has resulted in a death. At around 8:30 Saturday morning 38 year old Clint Michael Lawrence of Vinton was found dead near Mt. Pleasant after falling from a tree stand while deer hunting. According to the Iowa Department of Natural Resources, Lawrence fell approximately 17 feet. Law enforcement agencies involved with the investigation include the Henry County Sheriff’s office and the Iowa DNR.
