Latinos are a fast-growing group in the United States. A new compilation of information from the Iowa Data Center shows Iowa is one area where that demographic is located. Compared with the rest of Iowa, Washington County has a larger than average Latino population–just above 5-percent.  But neighboring Louisa County has a more than 15-percent Latino population.
