A reminder that city offices are closed today for Thanksgiving. That includes the Washington Public Library and City Hall.  The Washington County Courthouse is also closed.  The offices will remain closed until re-opening on Monday. However, the Washington Public Library returns to regular hours on Saturday: 9 to 5.

The Washington Community School District classes are also on holiday.  But their break started a little later than anticipated.  Because of a late start to the day Wednesday due to fog,  students did not have their planned early dismissal.  Classes resume next Tuesday.
